30 Minutes from Omagh

Rooms near Omagh with a good restaurant

Omagh is about 30 minutes away along the A5. Our restaurant serves dinner Thursday to Sunday, with Sunday lunch from 12 to 3pm. The steaks come from Quinn’s, our own family butcher for over 40 years and three generations. Every Thursday is Steak Night: an 8oz sirloin or rib eye from Quinn’s dry-aged beef, grilled, at £30 for 2 courses or £35 for 3, with a complimentary glass of wine or a soft drink. Have dinner, then head upstairs to bed.

Break the Journey

Staying on the A4/A5 between Belfast and the North West

Ballygawley sits where the A4 and A5 meet, on the main route between Belfast and Donegal and the North West, with Enniskillen also about 30 minutes away. That makes us a natural place to break a long drive: pull in for dinner, stay the night and set off again in the morning, with free parking outside. We’ve written more about where to eat and stay between Belfast and Donegal in our Journal.

Weddings & Occasions

Rooms for wedding guests and family occasions

Wedding guests, christening parties and families travelling in for an occasion often take several rooms at once. Our private function room upstairs holds up to 50, with a garden room for smaller celebrations, so your guests can eat, celebrate and sleep under one roof. Group set menus are available for 10 or more. Mention rooms when you enquire and we’ll hold them alongside your booking.
